The humble mousemat has to be one of the most overlooked items in the studio. Yet as one of the most heavily used and abused tools in the modern studio we tend to give little thought as to its suitability when even something as simple as the wrong choice of coating can reduce the accuracy of registered movement by up to 35%.

Measuring 190mm x 230mm, our mats have been specifically designed with studio producers in mind. Manufactured to comfortably fit into smaller spaces such as the bridge of many controller keyboards, they're faced with a hardwearing polyester fabric that aids in both the accuracy and movement of the mouse.

Our mats are also backed with a full 5mm of non-slip 'true grip' rubber to ensure that they not only remain exactly where they're put but they're also comfortable to use too.

The Major Keys Mouse Mat

 Major Keys Mouse Mat: £6.95

This mouse mat comes designed with the entire major key range only a glance away with the notes of the chromatic scale listed at the top from left to right and the different keys available in major mode listed top to bottom.

To determine the notes in a major scale simply choose the scale you want to work in from the left hand vertical axis (runs from the top to the bottom of the mat) and the notes in that scale are listed with the numbered units left to right along the horizontal axis; and each number represents the order of the notes in that scale.

For example, if we choose G Major (G) as our key from the vertical axis, we can see on the above mat that the notes in G Major consist of:

Note 1 = G, Note 2 = A, Note 3 = B, Note 4 = C, Note 5 = D, Note 6 = E, Note 7 = F# (Gb)
